Currently, Ivon is building his guitars in groups of two and three, depending on the complexity of the decorative elements. All of the instruments have hard wood bindings with mitered perflings, hand-cut logos in various materials, ebony fingerboards and bridges and choice of mahogany or black walnut necks. All tops are either German, Engleman or Red spruce. Top bracing is hand-split red spruce which is air dried for a minimum of five years. All woods are moisture tested and kept in the shop atmosphere for a year before assembly.



These are truly hand-made instruments. A minimum of power tools are used in production. Each instrument is unique, differing from others like it in detail. These are not cookie-cutter instruments. Each is unique and has a voice of its own.
